The Stairs are the Nicest Thing in Our House!

Dave and Co are true craftsmen. They did a beautiful job on our stairs. The stairs came out so beautiful. Dave and Co were respectful, kind, helpful and left the house in better shape than they found it. Dave was very responsive and open to suggestions. He made sure to work with us every step of the process and kept us informed. The stairs are the nicest thing in our house! Highly recommend Dave, good value, excellent work.

Love My New Stair Railings!

Cannot say enough good things about Dave. He worked with us to find the perfect stain that matched our front door, was very responsive and professional. He also took the time to answer questions from my 3 children. 🤣 He did a great job cleaning up every night. I am thrilled with the results. Love my new stair railings!

A Timeline of Our History

1973

I built a solid cherry Shaker chest of drawers at age 16.

1975

For the next 12 years, I got experience in cabinetry, finish trim, framing, and rough carpentry which gave me a well-rounded foundation in home and stair construction.

1987

Architectural Woodworking
I started Architectural Woodworking Inc. and specialized in stair building and stair “remodeling” among other things.

2010

I developed the Super Stain process for refinishing kitchen cabinetry, stairs, trim work, etc. We introduced it at the Home and Garden show that year.

2016

Super Stain
I re-named my company Super Stain Inc. to better promote and “brand” our process.

2018

I added the name Architectural Woodworking Cleveland to keep our woodworking and stair work “in the picture” for our website and Google business page.

2022

I dropped the name Architectural Woodworking Cleveland and registered the trade name Stairs Cleveland for our stair division.

What a privilege it`s been for me to pursue my dream, and for this long. It`s very satisfying to do great work for good people.
